THE FINE PRINT

3‑D Printed Product Disclaimer & Care Guide

Thank you for supporting small‑batch, additively‑manufactured goods! 3‑D printing allows for unmatched design flexibility, but it also introduces natural variation you won’t see in mass‑molded plastics. Please read this notice before using or displaying your item.

1. Understanding Filament Options

| Filament Style | What It Looks Like | Why Each Piece Is Unique |
| Solid‑Color (Monotone) | A single, uniform hue throughout. | Batch‑to‑batch dye lots can shift slightly; expect subtle shade differences if you reorder later. |
| Color‑Gradient | A gentle, continuous fade from one tone to the next along the length of the print (e.g., blue ➜ teal ➜ green). | The point at which the gradient begins is determined by where the model starts on the spool; two prints of the same model will rarely fade in the exact same spots. |
| Rainbow (Segmented) | Distinct, repeating color bands (red, orange, yellow, etc.) that form stripes or rings. | Because rainbow filament is made of fixed “color blocks,” the width and order of stripes change with every size and orientation of the object. |
| Marble | A base color (usually white or gray) peppered with dark flecks, mimicking natural stone. | Fleck distribution is random, so speckling density will differ from item to item. |

2. Heat & UV Exposure

Do NOT leave the product in a hot car, on a radiator, or in direct summer sunlight.  Most consumer PLA and PETG soften around 55 – 65 °C (130 – 150 °F); warping or deformation can occur long before melting.
Long‑term UV exposure may dull colors over time. Indoor display is recommended for the most vibrant finish.

3. Cleaning & Maintenance

Hand‑wash only. Rinse under cool tap water with mild dish soap and a soft cloth or sponge.
No dishwashers, boiling water, or abrasive pads.  High heat and caustic detergents can distort the print and degrade surface quality.
Avoid prolonged soaking; 3‑D prints are layered and can trap moisture internally.

4. Dimensional Accuracy

We print on calibrated, high‑precision machines (typical layer height 0.16 mm; tolerance ±0.2 mm).
All measurements listed are approximate. Slight variation can arise from the additive process, post‑processing, the exact points from which dimensions are taken, and the play required for movable parts to articulate freely.

5. General Safety

Printed objects are not certified food‑safe unless explicitly stated.
Small parts may present a choking hazard; keep away from children and pets.
Do not subject the item to mechanical loads beyond decorative or light‑duty use unless it was designed for that purpose.

By purchasing, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the characteristics and limitations described above. Enjoy your custom‑made piece, and feel free to contact us with any questions or special requirements!
